The frog forces the nightingale to sing and organize concerts. Once, the nightingale started attracting other animals , the frog started charging money for the concerts. The frog paid no attention towards the nightingale's health,he was just money minded and selfish .

In the poem frog and the Nightingale the frog is jealous of the Nightingale due to her beautiful voice. so he thinks to show her that his voice is the best and in order to this he tells her that he will teach her to sing beautifully but on one condition that she would have to pay him. She would have to earn money for him by singing her songs. so by this we can say that the frog is very money minded.
