The author's behaviour is morally unacceptable. There are at least three reasons behind it.

To begin with, the author, despite being young, let his father carry his luggage. Not once did he consider his father's age. He completely failed in his duties as a son.

Additionally, he did not display any sense of gratitude towards the father, who had toiled all his life only to give his son a good education. The lack of gratitude also suggests that it was not a morally acceptable act.

Further, the author is in his own world, wherein he thinks he is respected by all. He seems to have used the same education to distance himself from his father. He behaves like a person from the upper-class, while considering his father to be a lowly labourer. In this sense also, the author's behaviour is not morally right
