Fossil fuels are those fuels which are formed by the natural processes such as anaerobic decomposition of buried dead organisms. These fossils fuels contain a high amount of carbon.
Types of fossil fuels :
- Coal
- Petroleum
- Natural gas
Disadvantages of fossil fuels :
- They are present in a limited quantity.
- Due to the high amount of carbon they causes a lot of pollution.
- These are non - renewable resources.
- Burning of fossil fuels can cause acid rain.
- On burning fossil fuels it produces sulphur dioxide nitrogen dioxide carbon dioxide nd water. Though water doesn't causes any harm.
- Carbon dioxide increases the amount of greenhouse effect......
