In the poem The Tale of Custard the Dragon , custard was a pet dragon of Belinda . He always cried for a safe cage. Everyone thought that he was coward and laugh on him.
But when they saw the pirate all pets were gone to hide in their place and Belinda was crying for help. Then custard help her by swallowing the whole pirate and saved her.
therefore we get a lesson from this poem The Tale of Custard the Dragon that we should not judge a book by its cover.
