Is there area moment of inertia also ?

Yes area of moment of inertia is there but not included in 11 class syllabus i suppose... The area moment of inertia is aproperty of a two-dimensional plane shape which characterizes itsdeflection under loading. It is alsoknown as the second moment of areaor second moment of inertia. The area moment of inertia has dimensions of length to the fourth power.
