Answer:

1.There are three different types of faults: Normal, Reverse, and Transcurrent (Strike-Slip). Normal faults form when the hanging wall drops down. ... The forces creating reverse faults are compressional, pushing the sides together. Transcurrent or Strike-slip faults have walls that move sideways, not up or down.

2.Volcanic landforms are controlled by the geological processes that form them and act on them after they have formed. Thus, a given volcanic landform will be characteristic of the types of material it is made of, which in turn depends on the prior eruptive behavior of the volcano. Although later processes can modify the original landform, we should be able to find clues in the modified form that lead us to conclusions about the original formation process.

3.The shadow zone is the area of the earth from angular distances of 104 to 140 degrees from a given earthquake that does not receive any direct P waves. The shadow zone results from S waves being stopped entirely by the liquid core and P waves being bent (refracted) by the liquid core.

4.Most volcanoes have a volcanic crater at the top. When a volcano is active, materials come out of it. The materials include lava, steam, gaseous sulfur compounds, ash and broken rock pieces. When there is enough pressure, the volcano erupts

Let us learn about earth movements like  faults, shadow zone ,volcanic material and volcanic eruption.

Explanation:

Ans : 1       Faults

A fault is fracture in rock where there has been movement and displacement ,a faults lies in the crust and the earthquakes results from the plates . The faults are mainly of three types which are shown below:

  • normal faults when  hanging wall  looks like drops down .
  • reverse faults when hanging wall looks like upward
  • Trans current  or strike slip faults when hanging wall do not slides ups and down .

Ans 2: volcanic eruption

volcanic eruption is a phenomenon when hot materials from the earth crust or interior of the earth thrown out of a volcano like lava ,rocks ,dust etc are its compounds .

Ans 3:   Concepts of shadow zone

The shadow zone is the area where seismographs  is barely detected the earthquakes after the  seismic waves passes through the earth .

there are two types of seismic waves

primary waves are those waves which can be go through the week part of the earths interior like liquid part

secondary waves are those waves which can be transfer both liquid and solid part of the earth.

Ans 4 : volcanic material

when volcanoes erupts from the week part of the earth comes with interior material . we divides this material in two parts

volcanic material is divided into two parts

  • pyroclastic material

For example : basalt ,pumice, clastic rocks

  • lava flow material

For example :  ,aluminium ,nickle , green stones etc
