The ghost in the play is a wicked man.
He does not bother who and how he victimises and horrifies the others.
Mr. Canterville tells all the strange things of canterville chase house and the ghost to American minister Mr. otis. so we can conclude that he is good and honest person.
with regards to Mr.otis family, they are not afraid of ghost. Even they made fun of him.
Events like removing of blood stain,ghost is terrified by the star and strips,etc. The ghost make plans to horrify them but in every plans he got failed and insulted by the american family.
TO CONCLUDE THE TOPIC WE CAN SAY THAT MR. OTIS FAMILY WAS RUTHLESS,RATIONAL IN ATTITUDE AND HAVE POSITIVE THINKING ABOUT THE GHOST.
