1. Yarns are made up of thin strands called fibers. The process of making yarn from fibers is called spinning. In this process, a mass of cotton wool are drawn out and twisted. This brings the fibers together to form yarn.
2. a) A herbivore is an animal that gets its energy from eating plants, and only plants. eg: cow, goat's etc.
b) A carnivore is an animal that gets food from killing and eating other animals. They eat other animals.eg: lion, tiger, hyena etc.
c) An omnivore is an organism that eats plants and animals. eg: bear, crow, dog etc.
3. fats: cheese, fish etc.
starch: potatoes,rice or grains etc.
protein: egg, milk etc.
