it is a bad thing. Aspiring for more and more and more is not at all a good thing. If at all you aspire for more, you should aspire for more knowledge, good friendship, good culture etc. If you aspire for more money, more house, more ornaments and if you fail to bag these things (in 95 out of 100 cases, it will be a failure), you will be thoroughly disappointed, depressed and in some cases it disturbs the family atmosphere and bring rift between husband and wife. Be satisfied and contented with what comes to your share because the giver (creator) knows your capacity to receive and accordingly gives you. If you have contentment, at least there will be peace and serenity at the home front.

At least in the case of Indians, till some 30 years ago there was poverty in the country. However, people were leading a happy and contented life despite more than 15 persons living under one roof. There was bonhomie, fellow-feeling, caring and sharing between members of a family. Children growing in such an environment had an all round development. Life was leisurely and there was no rat race.

Nowadays, money is in abundance. Both will be earning. But, lack of sufficient parental love would stunt the child’s growth. When they are adults, they fly to a foreign land in search of dollars. Parents are willy nilly put in old age homes. The family will be in smithereens.

If money comes to you in a fair and legal manner and if you are gifted with vivek, then there will be no harm as you will handle everything in a balanced manner. If you are an avivek ( wisdomless) and you earn money by foul means, then life will be infernal. The latter (that is aviveks getting illegal money) is the order of the day and that is the reason why you and I watch such a chaotic situation everywhere at least in India.

Lastly, man’s aspiring for more and more will put heavy pressure on nature and environment and, in sheer frustration, it may call it a day thus drawing curtains on the wild dance of humans. It seems, people are hell-bent on inviting and receiving the apocalypse, which is round the corner.
