AnswEr :-

1. (i) Smallest Natural Number is 1 and Smallest Whole Number is 0.

(ii) The property being illustrated in 34 × 43 = 43 × 34 is the Commutative property of multiplication.

2. (i) 10101 × 1 = 10101

⇒ Multiplicative Identity

(ii) (75+34) + 68 = 75 + (34 + 68)

⇒ Associative property of addition

Explanation :-

↬ Natural numbers are 1, 2, 3, 4, ..... Thus the smallest natural number is 0.

↬ Whole numbers are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, .... Thus,  the smallest natural number is 1.

↬ Commutative property of multiplication states that the order of numbers while multiplying does not change the result, i.e, a × b = b × a

1 is the multiplicative identity of every natural number. Any number multiplied with 1 will result in the same number.

↬ Associative property of addition states that grouping the numbers in any order does not change the sum
