1. Complement Angle is 90°.

So to find the complement of 54° we must subtract it from 90.

90° - 54° = 36°

∴ The complement of 54° is (b) 36°.

2. Supplement Angle is 180°.

So to find the supplement of 90° we must subtract it from 180.

180° - 90° = 90°

∴ The supplement of 90° is (a) 90°.

3. Acute angles measure less than 90°. So even if we take the maximum of the acute angle it can't sum upto 180°.

89+89 < 180

∴ Two Acute Angles can't form a supplement angle.

Obtuse angles measure more than 90°. So even if we take the minimum of the obtuse angle it will be more than 180°.

∴ Two Obtuse Angles can't form a supplement angle.

Right angles measure exactly 90°. So if we add 90° two times we get 180°.

∴ Two Right Angles can form a supplement angle.

∴ The answer is (c) Right Angles.

4. Complementary Angle is 90°

So the sum of two complementary angles would be ⇒ 90° + 90° = 180°

∴ The sum of measures of two complementary angles is (b) 180°.

5. So let the complement of the other number be x

⇒ 90° - x° = x°

⇒ 90° - x° + x° = x° + x°

⇒ 90° = 2x°

⇒ 90° ÷ 2 = 2x° ÷ 2

⇒ 45° = x°

∴ The angle which is equal to its complement is (b) 45°.

6. So let the supplement of the other number be x

⇒ 180° - x° = x°

⇒ 180° - x° + x° = x° + x°

⇒ 180° = 2x°

⇒ 180° ÷ 2 = 2x° ÷ 2

⇒ 90° = x°

∴ The angle which is equal to its complement is (b) 90°.

7. If two adjacent angles are supplementary, then they form a (b) Linear pair.

8. Two angles forming a linear pair are (b) Supplementary.

9. When a transversal cuts two parallel lines, each pair of corresponding angles are (a) equal.

10. If two parallel lines are cut by a transversal, then each pair of interior angles on the same side of the transversal are (b) Supplementary.

11. The supplement of a right angle is always a (a) Right angle.

12. The supplement of an acute angle is always (b) Obtuse angle.

13. An angle is greater than 45 degree. Its complementary angle is (c) less than 45.

14.  When two lines intersect, the (c) vertical angles so formed are equal.

15. A line segment has (b) two end points.
