Let a and b be two integers. What value of b will make the sum a + b.
(i) Less than a
(ii) equal to zero
(iii) greater than a?​

let the value of a be 5 and b be -5

then a+b= ( less than a )

= 5 + b = ( less than a)

= 5 + (- 5 ) = 0 which is less than 5 i.e. a

ii) equal to zero

same value of a and b will make a+b =0

put a = 5 and b = -5

Then 5+ ( - 5) = 0

Thus the value of B can be -5 ( negative of the no. ) to make sum equal to 0...

iii) greater than a

let the value of b be 8 and a remain the same

Then,

a+b= 5+8=13 which is greater than a

Thus the value of b can be 8 to make the sum greater than a....

These could be the possible values of b to fulfill the conditions...
