Hindus believe in caste or jati system. According to rules of Varna society was divided into four classes.

1. Brahmins:

                 It is honored as the purest class of Hindu society, which originates from the head of Purusa.

2. Ksatriya:

                This class originates from the arms of Purusa. This class protects people.

3. Vaisya:

              This class originates from legs of Purusa. They transport goods and tend to cattle.

4. Sudra:

              This class originates from feet of Purusa. They are considered the most impure class of Indian society.
