Answer:

hot and cold: sry mate idk about it

measuring temperature:Temperature measurement, also known as thermometry, describes the process of measuring a current local temperature for immediate or later evaluation. Datasets consisting of repeated standardized measurements can be used to assess temperature trends.

laboratory thermometer:A laboratory thermometer is a tool used in laboratories to measure temperature with high accuracy. It can be partially or fully immersed in the substance being measured. A laboratory thermometer is recognizable by its long stem with a silver bulb at the end. it's range is at between-10°c to 110°c.

clinical thermometers:A clinical thermometer is used for measuring human or animal body temperature. The tip of the thermometer is inserted into the mouth under the tongue, under the armpit, into the rectum via the anus, into the ear, or on the forehead. it's range is at between 0°c to 100°c.

transfer of heat: it is done by 3 methods that r:

1.. conduction

2..convection

3..radiation.

sea breeze: the breeze that flows from sea surface during day time.

land breeze:the breeze that flows from land surface during night.

acid bases and salt...

acid: chemical wich r soure in taste.

bases: chemical wich have bitter tase and soapy feel.

natural inductors around us: Natural Indicator is a type of indicator that can be found naturally and can determine whether the substance is an acidic substance or a basic substance. Some examples of natural indicators are red cabbage, turmeric, grape juice, turnip skin, curry powder, cherries, beetroots, onion, tomato, etc.

turmeric China rose as inductor: Turmeric paper turns into red when it is dipped into basic solution. Turmeric paper does not change its colour with acid. China Rose: China rose is another natural indicator. China rose solution gives dark pink (magenta) colour with acid and green colour with base.

neutralization: a chemical reaction between an acid and a base leading to formation of salt and water.

Neutralisation in everyday life: Farmers use lime (calcium oxide) to neutralise acid soils. Your stomach contains hydrochloric acid, and too much of this causes indigestion. Antacid tablets contain bases such as magnesium hydroxide and magnesium carbonate to neutralise the extra acid.

TOPIC: Heat & Acids, Bases and Salts

Required Explanation:-

1. Höt means having high temperature in any substance whereas cold means having very low temperature in any substance.

2. Measuring temperature defines to measure the temperature of any substance whether its cold or höt. It can be measure through thermometer with different scales

3. One such thermometer is laboratory thermometer which is used to measure the temperature of various objects during experiments in a laboratory.

4. The thermometer used to measure the body temperature of humans and animals is called clinical thermometer.

5. The heat always flows from a hotter object to a colder object, Whenever two bodies at different temperatures come in contact.

6. The convection current from the Sea to land cause sea breeze. Whereas The convection current from the land to sea cause land breeze.

__________________________

1. Substances like lemon taste sour. It is because these substances contain chemicals called 'Acids'. Whereas the substances that are bitter in taste and produces a soapy feelings are called 'Bases'.

2. Some examples of natural indicators are Turmeric, red cabbage, litmus etc.

3. Turmeric, China Rose are Natural Indicator while Turmeric shows color change in acids and bases.

4. A reaction between an acid and a base to form a salt.

5. Neutralisation in everyday life.

  • In the treatment of soil
  • In treating digestion
  • In the treatment of factory wastes.
