Answer:

a) \: (9 \: 40 \: 41 ) \\ = {9}^{2} = 81 \\ = {40}^{2} = 1600 \\ {9}^{2} + {40}^{2} = 1600 + 81 = 1681 \\ {41}^{2} = 1681 \\

It is a Pythagorean triplet because square of bigger number is equal to sum of squares of other two.

b) \: (20 \: 99 \: 101) \\ {20 }^{2} = 400 \\ {99}^{2} = 9801 \\ {20}^{2} + {99}^{2} = 9801 + 400 \\ = 10201 \\ {101}^{2} = 10201

it is a Pythagorean triplet because square of bigger number is equal to the sum of the squares of the other two.

hope it will be helpful ☺️
