Q1 . In the story, Rudyard Kipling ( the author ) brings out the theme of laziness effectively. The main idea here is to make the readers understand the importance of hard work.

Q2 . In this story Camel is very lazy and careless and he doesn't want to work. He sits in the middle of the desert eating weed and grasses and whenever someone ask Camel for help in work he always replied with ''humph''. When other animals were working and asked camel to help he just replied ''humph'.

Q3.  As the camel was lazy , the camel got his hump when the Djinn cursed him with a burden on its back as it had refused to work. It justifies that a lazy person can never succeed in his life,he had to work hard and harder to reach his top level. So,it is necessary to work hard if he/she wants to succeed in his life .

Q4. The Djnn was the master or boss of the desert . When Djnn heard that the camel doesn't do any work , he decided to punish the Camel . So, he cast a spell on the Camel and a big humph emerged on the Camel's back. The food is stored in the humph so camel can work for 3-4 days without eating. Answer:

1) The chapter – How The Camel Got His Hump teaches students that we should not waste our time by sitting idly. One who is lazy and does not perform his duties or fulfil his responsibilities on time tends to suffer in the end.

2) The camel in described as as a grumpy and idle creature. In the story there is a camel who had to work but he did not want to work in the desert. Whenever anyone would ask him or say anything to him he only responded with the word, "hump". He liked sitting idle which is why he ate prickles, sticks and thorns.

3) i dont know sorry.

4) The Djinn was the master of deserts. So he was able to know easily who the animal with a long neck and long legs was.The Djinn decided to punish the Camel he cast a spell on the Camel and a big humph emerged on the Camel's back. The food is stored in the humph so camel can work for 3-4 days without eating. The Djinn said to Camel that if he complete his work then the humph will disappear.
