If a person tries moving a box in one direction, friction opposes him. So, if 2 people ( One person - X ),( One person- Y ) try moving the box from different directions ( X tries moving towards North and Y tries moving it towards south ) at the same time, which direction will Friction oppose? Will it oppose both of them?

friction will oppose no direction it will not move

or

how many force a person is applying if person x is applying more force then friction will be in north direction. aur if x is applying more force then the friction will be in south direction if both are applying same force then friction will be cancel out therefore their will be no direction box will not move
