On the basis of given properties distinguish between metal and non-metal are :-

• Malleability :- It is a physical property of metal that the ability to hammered ,or rolled the sheet without breaking. and non-metal has no property of malleability.

• Ductility :- It is property in metal that ability stretch a thin wire while non-metal has not.

• Heat conduction :- Metal has a special property that conduct heat. It is also known as good conductor of heat. while non- metal is bad conductor of heat.

• Ex :- Copper is a good conductor of heat

• Conduction of electricity :- Metal is a good conductor of electricity while non -metal is bad conductor of electricity.

• Ex:- Pure silver, copper, gold etc. these are good conductor of electricity.
