1. RAYON :

•Rayon is used in textile industry for making clothing like sarees, blouses, dresses and socks.

•Used to make bed-sheets, curtains, blankets, etc.

2. NYLON:

•Clothing – Shirts, Foundation garments, lingerie, raincoats, underwear, swimwear and cycle wear.

•Industrial uses – Conveyer and seat belts, parachutes, airbags, nets and ropes, tarpaulins, thread, and tents.

3. TERYLENE:

•Terylene is extensively used in textile industry to make hard wear clothes like sarees , taoestry and dress material.

• Terylene is made by a process of polymerizing ethylene glycol and terepthalic acid.

4.ACRYLIC FIBRE:

•acrylic fiber is often used for sweaters and tracksuits and as linings for boots and gloves

• in furnishing fabrics and carpets.

5.KEROSEAL:

•When it is mixed with plasticizers, it is used as wall covering paints for water proofing property; lining material for tanks

• used in wire and cable insulation.
