following

2. Verify the closure property of addition

for the following rational numbers

a) 11/13 and -5/3. (b) -4/7 and -2/7

3. Verify that a + b = b+ a for each of the

following

i) a = 3/7 , b = -1/5 (ii) a= -2/9 , b= -4/3​
