i think that this title is apt for the poem because while listening to the raindrops...he relives his young memories of him being with his mother and his thoughts go aback in past...he enjoys the rain on his cozy cottage....for instance the poet is flooded with thoughts which are arising in his mind just the way rain falls on the roof.
