Provided that:

  • Mass of a car = 1000 kg
  • Acceleration = 5 m/s²

Don't be confused! Acceleration is the one word for rate of change in velocity.

To calculate:

  • The force

Solution:

  • The force = 5000 Newton

Using concept:

  • Force formula

Using formula:

  • F = ma

(Where, a denotes acceleration, F denotes force and m denotes mass)

Required solution:

~ We just have to put the values according to the formula, and have to carry on!

:\implies \sf Force \: = mass \times acceleration \\ \\ :\implies \sf F \: = m \times a \\ \\ :\implies \sf F \: = ma \\ \\ :\implies \sf  F \: = 1000(5) \\ \\ :\implies \sf  F \: = 1000 \times 5 \\ \\ :\implies \sf  F \: = 5000 \ N \\ \\ :\implies \sf  Force \: = 5000 \ Newton \\ \\ {\pmb{\sf{Henceforth, \: solved!}}}

Answer:-

  • Mass=1000kg
  • Acceleration=5m/s^2

We know

\boxed{\sf Force=Mass\times Acceleration}

➜F=ma

➜Force=1000×5

➜Force=5000Newton

➜Force=5000N
