yes fearful situations make lose our senses due to extreme feeling inside us.

here in the story also., the doctors becomes a stone when he was coiled by a snake.immediately after the snake got uncoiled itself off the hand he immediately rush out.

whenever we feel the fear we start sweating and tense.all this make us go nervous and do not allow us to do thing in a right way.
