So to get the value in p/q form,

we multiply both L.H.S and R.H.S with 10

So,

$10x = 6.6666..... \: - - - - (2)$

Take eq(1) and eq(2)

$10x = 6.6666..... \\ x \: \: \: \: = 0.6666..... \\ - \: \: \: \: \: \: \: \: - \\ - - - - - - - - - \\ 9x = 6 \\ x = \frac{6}{9} \\ x = \frac{2}{3}$

0.6666....... is written as 2/3

And 2/3 is in the form of p/q
