i) Toto was a pretty red monkey, whose bright eyes sparkled with mischief beneath deep-set eyebrows, and his teeth, which were a pearly white, were very often displayed in a smile that frightened the life out of elderly Anglo-Indian ladies.
ii) Finally, grandfather realised that Toto was not suitable to be kept at home. They could not afford the frequent losses that he gave them. He tore clothes, curtains, wallpapers and broke dishes. So, the grandfather sold Toto back to the same Tonga driver for a sum of three rupees.
iii) Here, 'we' refers to the grandfather along with his family members.
iv) The author of the story "The Adventures of Toto" is Ruskin Bond.
