The immperical probability P (E) of the happening of am event . :- P (E) = No. Of ecents in which the trials happened / Total .no .of events... The probability of an event lies between 0 and 1 . Probability of tge happening of an event + Probability of non - happening of an event will be always 1.The probability of an event which is sure to happen is 1. The probability of an event which is impossible is 0 .Probability of an event is never negative.
