Explanation:

1. When the storm and heavy rain comes all the houses get submerged in the water.The people become homeless.The heavy rain results in many diseases.
2. A nineteen years old boy named Prashant belonged to Kalikuda, which is situated in the coastal state of Odisha. Seven years ago he lost his mother. While he visited his friend in Erasma on 27 October 1999, the area is hit by the cyclone. The rain and wind continued for two days and destroyed everything. They survived to have tender coconuts which were falling from trees and remained on the rooftop. As the rain stopped Prashant took the stick to move on the road and left for his home. While moving he came across dead bodies of animals and human beings and also not a single house could be seen. He was in remorse that he would lose his beloved. Then he went to Red Cross Society and found his maternal grandmother they both were elated to see each other. There were more than 2500 people in the shelter home and the families were grief-stricken. Therefore, Prashant formed a group with people to control the situation. Through the group, he approached merchants to have stock of rice and they agreed. The volunteers helped people cleaning the shelter and help injured people. He helped widows and children. Hence, in the period of adversities, Prashant learned to smile and move ahead.
3. Prashant and other volunteers resist the plan to setup institution for orphans and widows because they feel that in such institutions the Orphaned children would grow up without love. Widowed women would suffer from loneliness. They would bear the stigma of being widows.
