1 Preamble declares India to be a sovereign, socialist, secular and democratic republic. The objectives stated by the Preamble are to secure justice, liberty, equality to all citizens and promote fraternity to maintain unity and integrity of the nation.

2 Universal suffrage (also called universal franchise, general suffrage, and common suffrage of the common man) gives the right to vote to all adult citizens, regardless of wealth, income, gender, social status, race, ethnicity, political stance, or any other restriction, subject only to relatively minor exceptions

3The Indian Constitution is federal because there are two levels of the government- the Union and the state governemnts. There also exists the local government at the local level.

4Cabinet or parliamentary form of government is that in which; • Legislature and executive are closely related and share powers with each other. Cabinet is formed by the parliament and parliament is the superior organ. There are two executives i.e. the elected president or king and the Prime Minister.

5A Unified Judicial system includes a system in which at the top is the central governing structure, like a head court, controlling the same sub-units meaning other minor courts. India has a unified judicial structure, with all the other courts directly or indirectly regulated by the Supreme Court at the top.

6It has provisions to incorporate changes from time-to-time. These changes are called constitutional amendments. It lays down the procedure for choosing persons to govern the country. It defines “who will have how much power to take a particular decisions'.11-Dec-2019
