Polycheata is a class if marine bristle worms known as polycheates which are a part of the paraphyletic class of annelid worms.

Polychaetes, are marine worms notable for well-defined segmentation of the body. Unique among annelids, most polychaete body segments bear a pair of parapodia with setae, or tiny bristles.
