1) While the people in other villages clashed with one another, people of Pambupatti lived in peace. They did not fight in the name of religion or language. In this way, Pambupatti is different from any other village.

2) Prem determined not to return to his village because the people in his village went mad and burnt down temple or mosque. There were religious crisis in the village and people started fighting with one another.

3) After the tortoises left the forest, a strange smell of rot began to fill the forest. They ate up the eggs of the lizards and crocodiles and so there were no babies that year.

3 ) There came a tough time.The forest got filled with foul smell of rotting fruits and fishes in the absence of tortoises .Rats multiplied in the absence of snakes and without lizards there were millions of insects in the forest.
