THE BOY SAW THE BALL BOUNCING IN WATER .
The poem 'The Ball Poem' was written by John Berryman.
In the poem, the boy loses his ball when it bounced away merrily down the street and then into the water. The boy feels too sad about it and he would never forget about his loss. Nothing else could replace that ball which he lost.
One day, the boy was playing with the ball. Accidently, the ball slipped from his hand and fell into a water body. This way the boy lost his ball.
After losing the ball, he felt very helpless. He was very sad as he lost his ball. He says that he can even buy another ball with money but he could not bring the memories he had with the lost ball.
