What are analogous organs. Give any two examples.

The organs which have different basic structure and origin abut are similar in their appearance and functioning, are called analogous organs.

Example.
1. Wings of an insect and bird.
2. Cladode of Ruscus and a foliage leaf.

Organs which have different structure and origin but have same function due to adaptation to similar factors are called analogous organs.
eg - wings of bird and bat.
cladode of Ruskus and foliage leaf.
