If we see under the permanent settlement the revenue of this type will be already fixed or pre-decided as per the land holdings given to the working peasants in a particular land.
But, in the case of Mahalwari system the revenue was to be paid by the village itself which is known mahal.
In permanent settlement there was no fixed provision of any revision of the revenue.
But, in Mahalwari system the revenue was to be revised more in periods or time or periodically they decide it.
In a permanent settlement the zamindars collect the revenue of it.
But in Mahalwari system the village headman collects the revenue (Usually a sarpanch of the panchayat).
