BIOTIC RESOURCES -->All living resources are known as biotic resources.Biotic resources are obtained from the biosphere , such as forests and animals, and the materials that can be obtained from them. Fossil fuels such as coal and petroleum are also included in this category because they are formed from decayed organic matter.

ABIOTIC RESOURCES -->Abiotic resources are resources that are nonliving. These resources fall into the larger category of natural resources, which occur naturally in the environment and are not created or produced by humans or human activity.
