2.Chemoreceptors detect taste, smell and chemicals in the body fluids.

3.Temperature receptors (thermoreceptors) detect changes in temperature.

4.Mechanoreceptors detect mechanical changes within the receptor itself or     in nearby structures.

5.Pain receptors.
