full name of Pythagoras was Pythagoras of Samos .he was an Greek mathematician. he was also a philosopher.he is known best for the proof of the important Pythagoras theorem.which is about right angle triangle.its means let ABC is a right angle triangle.and sides AB=3cm,BC=4 cm .then we have to find side AC then we use Pythagoras theorem AB square+BC square=AC square .then we find AC =5cm.
