Multimolecular Colloids
Colloidal particles consist of aggregates of small atoms or molecules.

Macromolecular Colloids
Dispersed particles are large molecules(usually polymers).

Associated Colloids
These behave like electrolytes in concentrations due to aggregated particles form colloidal solution.
