Industries can be categorized on so many factors .

On size industries are categorized as  small industries ,middle sized and large industries .For this matter what  is observed is the amount of products an industry is able to produce an d for what  distance can they be sold .By this i mean the export and import factor .

The other way is ownership.In  ownership we have private and public ownership .an industry can be owned by the government or by an individual .When owned by a person this is referred to as private ownership.
