On the basis of origin resources are classified as: (i) Biotic - They are obtained form Biosphere and have life such as flora & fauna Forest, livestock humans are examples of biotic resources. (ii) Abiotic - All those things which are composed of non-living things such as rocks metals etc. light rain rocks soil and water are some example of abiotic resources
