Hi there,

1. Acidic Salt: it is a polybasic acid which gets neutralized by using the base to form acidic salt.

Example Sodium bicarbonate

2. Basic Salt: Basic Salt is a Partial Replacement of OH radical with an Acid radical. Example Zinc Chloride(b)

3. Neutral Salt: the Neutral Salt usually formed by neutralization of an acid and a base. Example Sodium Chloride

4. Double Salt: in these Salts, there is the presence of one extra Cation or Anion. Example Potassium Sodium Tartrate

5. Mixed Salts: they are a Mixture of two Acid or base.

6. Complex Salt: it is formed due to a mixture of Simple salts. Example Sodium Silver Cyanide.

Below is the example of the Salts of Sodium:

1. Sodium Chloride: the Chemical Name is Common Salt. It is an example of Neutral Salt. The Molecule of Sodium act as Cation which attracts Chloride(Anion) leads to the formation of this Salt.

2. Sodium bicarbonate: it is an example of Acidic salt. It formed due to the replacement of acidic hydrogen by a Metal.
