2. Liquid fuels: These are generally exist in liquid state at room temperature. Generally, Kerosene, petrol, diesel, coal tar, alcohols come under this type of fuel.

3. Gaseous fuels: These are generally exist in gaseous state at room temperature. Generally, Petroleum gas, bio gas, natural gas, refinery gases come under this type of fuel
