Solution:

1] 2.070L = 2L 70ml ---> True

2.07 L can be written as 2L + 0.70 L

1 litre = 1000 ml

0.070 litre = 0.07× 1000/1 = 70ml

( we have neglected zero after 7 because it has no value)

# Thus, 2.070L can be written as 2L 70ml

-----------------------------------------------------------

2] 3.02L = 3L 200ml ---> False

3.02 L can be written as 3L+ 0.02 L

1 litre = 1000 ml

0.02 litre = 0.02 ×1000 = 20 ml

# Thus, 3.02 L can be written as 3L 20ml

-----------------------------------------------------------

3] 8.05L = 8L 50ml ----> True

8.05 L can be written as 8L+ 0.05L

1 litre = 1000 ml

0.05 L = 0.05 × 1000 = 50 ml

# Thus, 8.05 L can be written as 8L 50ml

-----------------------------------------------------------

4] 0.310L = 31ml ----> False

1 litre = 1000 ml

0.31 L = 0.31 × 1000 = 310 ml

# Thus, 0.310 L can be written as 310 ml

----------------------------------------------------------

Extra points:

1) To convert higher unit to smaller unit multiply with specific number

For example, 2m to cm [ 1 m = 100cm]

= 2 × 100 = 200 cm

2L to ml [ 1 L = 1000 ml]

= 2 × 1000 = 2000 ml

5 km to m [ 1 km = 1000m]

= 5× 1000 = 5000 m

-----------------------------------------------------------

2) To convert smaller unit to higher unit divide with specific number

For example 2 cm to m

= 2/100 = 0.02 m

2ml to L

= 2/1000 = 0.002 L

2 m to km

= 2/1000 = 0.002 km
