1. Acids usually have a sour taste.

But, all acids should not be tasted as some acids are hazardous to health.

For example, sulphuric acid.

2. While , bases have a mild taste .

for example ,toothpaste.

Some other test are also there .like , red cabbage test , Litmus Paper test ,methyl orange pink test..
