Solution : Given,

Number of carbon atoms =  

Molar mass of carbon = 12 g/mole

First we have to calculate the moles of carbon atom.

As,  atoms of carbon present in 1 mole of carbon

So,  atoms of carbon present in  moles of carbon

Now we have to calculate the mass of carbon atom.

Therefore, the mass of  atoms of carbon is, 60 g
