   Fuel are necessary for our daily activities everywhere. The fossil fuels like petrol and diesel oil, gas, coal, wood etc. generate pollution. They mix harmful gases into air. This creates global warming problem and holes in ozone layer.  Biodiversity is affected and many people are suffering from respiratory diseases.

   So clean fuel is essential for us to start using now onwards. Solar energy, biofuels, biomass, CNG, LPG, tidal power, wind energy, geothermal energy, and hydro-energy are cleaner energy sources than fossil fuels. Let us use them and live happily.

Fuel conservation is important because it is one of most essential for life, non-renewable resource. Below are some ways to conserve it :

- Visit a petrol pump when your car has little to no fuel, this method directly or indirectly saves valuable fuel of the respective petrol pump.
-Turn off your car in slow traffic and when you wait at traffic signals.
-Minimize the use of brakes.
-Opt for car pooling as much as possible.
-Use electric powered cars.
-Insist on buying cars that give excellent mileage.
-Maximise use of public transport.
-Spread awareness amongst friends and family.
