Clean India has become the mission of every native Indian or anyone living here. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan launched by Shri Narendra Modi Ji, our prime minister, has greatly influenced everyone so much so that everywhere we see people taking the broom in their hands and sweeping off their streets and roads. In fact, many speeches on Clean India campaign have been delivered by many public personalities in order to raise the consciousness of people. We have also covered both short speech on Clean India as well as long speech on Clean India to assist you in preparing impressive briefs on this subject and help you in your assignments, if any, whether it’s about addressing a group of people or covering your school or college assignment on this topic. You can definitely use them as a good reference point and gain more awareness on the subject.

LONG AND SHORT CLEAN INDIA SPEECH

SPEECH ON CLEAN INDIA 1

Honorary Judges, Respected Principal, Vice Principal, Teachers and My Dear Students – Warm Greetings to all of you!

It gives me a great pleasure to host today’s event on Clean India Campaign amidst the presence of our most prestigious judges who are chief advisories in the Environment Ministry of India. I hope our efforts in the cleaning and maintenance of our school premises as well as infrastructure would be able to impress our judges and earn a few words of appreciation. Besides, I would also like to deliver a short speech on Clean India Campaign or Swachh Bharat Abhiyan in order that more and more people become aware of it and start observing cleanliness in his/her surroundings and also encourage others to do the same.

Clean India Campaign or what has become the catch phrase for all, i.e. Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, is one of the most awarded projects kick started by the Prime Minister of India – Shri Narendra Modi Ji. It was on 2nd October, i.e. the day of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, in the year 2014 that he made an official announcement of this special campaign. This is indeed one-of-its-kind campaign which drew attention of millions of people and received recognition at a national level. The driving aim behind this campaign was of course to make every region of India, be it rural or urban, Open Defecation Free. Besides this, the aim of this prestigious campaign was to encourage the habit of cleanliness and maintenance of hygiene at all public and private places – whether its streets, roads, offices, homes or public infrastructure across the country. The best aspect of this campaign is to lay stress on cleanliness and the building of public toilets in all colleges, schools as well as public places.

One of the stark differences, which I am sure everyone realizes, is the level of cleanliness between India and other western nations. Do we not wonder at times why their cities remain so sparkling clean and well-maintained? Of course, we need to learn a lot from them and embark on the same path if we want our country to be counted amongst the developed nations in the world.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is needless to say one of the biggest sanitation and cleanliness campaigns being run on a national scale and one of the best parts worth sharing is that over three million public personnel, including school as well as college students came forward to become a part of this campaign. The chief goal of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is to clean our country’s 4,041 towns and cities with a budget of 1.96 lakh crore, which nearly comes down to $31 billion.

The best part of this campaign is that no sector has remained untouched of its influence and even the Indian film entertainment industry has begun to take this project quite seriously. In fact, one blockbuster movie has been made on this subject called “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” starring Bhumi Pednekar and Akshay Kumar. The movie, as can be inferred from the title, suggests the problems faced by women living in the rural region of India, who have no choice but to defecate in the open and the compelling situation of building more toilets in the rural regions of India. It is really nice to see the cleanliness campaign gaining huge momentum amongst the people and bringing in a sweeping change in our society for good.

i hope u like it

The motive of clean India and green India is that if we attempt and try to keep India clean, then automatically that would help India to be green. A Green environment is a result of the cleanliness which we should help India in doing so. the main aim of the Clean India Green India is to stop the unlimited cutting of the trees and to decrease the production of pollution.  the mission is about planting more and more trees to bring the greenery and fresh environment back. it was one of the initiatives of the Indian government under the minister Arun Jaitley that the mission of Clean India and Green India saw its emergence. On 2nd October the calendar with the theme of Clean India and Green India was launched by the minister Arun Jaitley. The mission of Clean and Green India was launched among the other two initiatives of the Government which is Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Digital India. in the calendar, the very first page contains a photograph of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi who is standing with a broom in his hand to clean.

The combination of clean India and green India makes the ideal and developing significance of India. The mission also helps in decreasing Global Warming. After the inauguration of this mission, there have been immense steps taken by the government and the people of India to make India clean and green. Hence, in order to make the country clean and green I want to take many initiatives. Being a student I want to educate everyone about the importance of the trees and forests. I also want to give my support to the people and the government and help them in making India clean and green.
