Clean India Mission Rally
Clean India Mission Rally was organized in our college on September 10, 2019. Students from NSS wing started the campaign from their respective classes. The House Captains, along with the entire team of prefects and volunteers, launched cleanliness drive throughout the college campus. They cleaned the college campus and planted approximately 2000 saplings along its boundary.
Secondly, the team of volunteers went to the areas adjoining the college and did the cleaning. Our school’s efforts were praised by the Mayor of the city. The local press covered and lauded our school’s contributions in furthering the noble cause. Seeing us, the other schools will follow suit. The principal applauded the college students, for their leadership qualities and were given commendation certificates. The students really felt a sense of satisfaction after doing a little towards making their country a little cleaner.

Behtar Swachhta (Hygiene), the second stage of the Behtar India campaign focusses on the Clean India mission. In this stage, all participants were called upon to come forward and contribute towards Swachh Bharat. As part of the Behtar India campaign, the students of Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka, Delhi took the initiative to clean an area near their school, which has turned into a dump yard. The students conducted the cleanliness drive with the help of school authorities and local administration.
