Cleanliness is an essential quality of the human community. This is one of the simplest measures to protect against various types of diseases. It is the cornerstone of a happy life. In it there are human dignity, decency and the philosophy of theism. By the cleanliness of man, the instinct of man is promoted.

Being clean is the natural quality of man. He wants to keep his home and the surrounding area clean. He does not spread the mess on his workplace. By cleaning, he keeps snakes, scorpions, flies, mosquitoes and other harmful insects away from himself. By cleaning, he receives the happiness of his mind. Cleaning keeps him from diseases of the germs. Through this, he keeps the environment of its neighborhood free of pollution.

Some people give less importance to cleanliness than their nature. They live in dirty places. The garbage is spread near his house. In the drains near the house, dirty water and other things continue to rot. The place of residence stinks from all sides. It is also possible to pass through it. There is a scene of hell on earth Starts to appear There are also other types of evils in such places. The people there are quickly infected with infectious diseases. Dirt has adverse impact on land, water and air purity. 

Cleanliness is also related to eating and drinking. It is very important to take care of cleanliness in kitchen items and food items. Grains, fruits and vegetables brought from the market should be well washed and used. Drinking water should be kept in a clean kitchen and covered. Cleaning of clothes also has the full significance. Clean clothes are devoid of germs, while dirty clothes spread disease and odor.

People should also take full care of body hygiene. Bathing everyday is a good habit. Rub the body while bathing so that the pores are open. After bathing with soap twice a week, the body germs are destroyed after bathing. Cutting nails one day a day destroys hidden dirt in them. By taking plenty of vegetables and fruits in the food, the internal cleansing of the body is done. On the other hand, eating stale and bacilli with high amounts of food stops the body's purification.

For the advancement of the environment, it is imperative to clean the habitat environment. The Father of the Nation gave great emphasis on cleanliness. But due to the spread of modern civilization and harmful industries, there has been a crisis of pollution all over the world. Therefore, prevention of hygiene should be identified and its spread should be stopped.

 Speech On Cleanliness​ 

Good morning to Respected Teachers , Honourable Dignitaries and all my dear friends, We all must be knowing that tomorrow is "2nd October".Friends, you all must be knowing that it is celebrated as Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti.

Also, Friends, It was on 2ndOctober, i.e. the day of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti, in the year 2014 that he made an official announcement of the special campaign of "Swaccha Bharat Abhiyan" led by our current Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Damodardas Modi.
It was felt that Cleanliness is the need of the hour and yes, a great campaign was taken up of "Cleanliness".

Friends, Cleanliness is very important part and yes , the major part of this campaign is to make each and every part of India whether it's rural or urban , it should be Clean, hygienic and pollution free.

So, it should be our duty to take one step ahead against the Swacchta Abhiyan and make our region, our state , our country a disease free, a pollution free and a completely developed country.

So, let's take one step ahead as cleanliness is next to godliness.
