Answer:

you have done two mistakes.

1.) sin30=1/2.

2.) cos 30=root3/2.

you have to make two figures then Try..

You have mistaken ..

my dear friend ..

 \sin(30)  =  \frac{1}{2 }  \:  \:  \:  \:    \: \cos(30)  =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2}

Solving it ...

   {sin}^{2} 30 +  {cos}^{2} 30

 = ( { \frac{1}{2} })^{2}  + ( { \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{2} })^{2}

 =  \frac{1}{4}  +  \frac{3}{4}

 =  \frac{3 + 1}{4}

 =  \frac{4}{4}

 = 1

hence verified ...
