Zaskar Range  

  • Zaskar is a group of mountain range found in the Himalayas. It is 7750 meters above sea level.
  • It spreads between Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. It is composed of Sedimentary rocks and the mountain ranges are in the form of Folds.  
  • Kamet is the highest point of this range that is found in Chamoli of Uttarakhand. A river called Zaskar flows in this range. Due to its scenic beauty, it attracts a lot of international and local tourists every year.
